Hi all! The group that I play VTES with had a brief discussion about Tortured Confession and we had a question... If Vamp A and and Vamp B are in combat and Vamp A uses a strike that will send Vamp B to torpor, which would get played first: an Undead Persistence or a Tortured Confession? If it is Undead Persistence, the there is no opportunity for Tortured Confession to be played, but if it is Tortured Confession, then the Undead Persistence can't be played since combat would be over. Would it depend on who was the acting Vamp (sinceacting Vamp cards go first)? Thanks! (and sorry if this question has already been answered or asked elsewhere - I looked first, but didn't see this particular issue being addressed) Mari Malkavian Admin Assistant for Portla...@yahoogroups.com Chatelaine of Portland, OR All Around Nice Girl heh

The acting player gets to play her card first. Either way, the blocking/defending player cannot follow with her card, for the reasoning you give above. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. That's pretty nice.

Yeah...but how many decks have you seen with Undead Persistence being used? I've rarely come across it since the new rules for unlimited cards. Could just be a trend with the players in my area though... [ quoted text not captured ]

I was referring to the original Jyhad 4 card limit. I know there aren't any new rules. Perhaps this rule never existed other than in my playgroup. Thanks! "LSJ" <vte...@white-wolf.com> wrote in message news:3B0D6890...@white-wolf.com... [ quoted text not captured ]

Yeah - Jyhad has never had a blanket card limit. Some groups imported a card limit from another deckmaster game to use as a house rule in their Jyhad/V:TES games, but it's never been an official rule. [ quoted text not captured ]
