[Just working on a few deck ideas (this one is based on one of Noal's decks). Please forgive me if this question has already been asked. I could not find a specific answer when I did a search...] Silvia Giovanni plays Mind Rape at superior on Samson. For this example, we will assume that Samson currently has only 1 blood on him. The next turn Silvia's player gives Samson a Fortitude master and then takes control of him during the minion phase. Samson then bleeds with Govern the Unaligned, modified with Daring the Dawn and Samson therefore burns (barring DI etc). The vampire still belongs to Samson's player but went to the ash heap during the Giovanni player's turn. Is the timing of either Daemonic Possession or Possession sufficient to allow this nasty maneuver? If Daemonic Possession is legal in this situation, would it have to wait until the following turn or must it be played on the same turn that Samson burned? Thanks in advance, WES

Is the timing of either Daemonic Possession or >Possession sufficient to allow this nasty maneuver? No. Possession is disallowed, because Samson is never in your ash heap. "Move a vampire from your ash heap to your ready region" Daemonic Possession is disallowed, because the vampire was not controlled by your prey when it burned. "a minion controlled by another Methuselah has been burned" LSJ 2001-11-05 http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=3BE67E38.FF73FD6B%40white-wolf.com >If Daemonic Possession is legal in this situation, would it have to wait >until the following turn or must it be played on the same turn that Samson >burned? If it were legal, it would have to be played on this turn. Scott's official ruling on "since your last turn" is that it includes the time during this turn and every that happened after the end of your previous turn.
