Can Ezmerelda's special be combined with Return to Innocence? It seems you might be able to remove her from the game and trigger both effects simultaneously. Return to Innocence: [D] Bleed. If you successfully bleed your prey for one or more, put this card on the acting vampire. Burn this card if this vampire loses any blood or goes to torpor, or if your prey is ousted. During your next untap, this vampire is removed from play and your prey burns X pool, where X is the capacity of this vampire. Ezmerelda: If Ezmerelda is ready during your untap phase, you may remove her from the game to gain 11 pool. David Cherryholmes Duke Radiology P.E.T. Facility (919) 684-7714 d...@petsparc.mc.duke.edu

No. There are no "simultanous" effects in V:TES (unless you count strike resolution). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. No. You order the effects of your untap phase as you want, but they have to be ordered. Doing things all at once doesn't happen. In this instance, you remove Ez for RtoI and then she isn't around for her special. Or, you remove her for her special and both her and RtoI aren't around to activate themselves as the next thing. Basically, everything you do in V:TES resolves when you do it (exceptions, strikes and actions, basically). You can't try and set up and interrupt stack like Magic has had to try and burn things and sacrifice them to something at the same time, etc -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D EBD690ECD7A1F "Analogies can be dangerous, Amanda," he begins, smiling B457CA213D7E6 slightly, "because the world is like a sandcastle..." 68C3695D623D5D
