Scott, I researched this but the closest thing I could find was Kiss of Ra and leave torpor which is altogether different. Can you play Change of Target on a Leave torpor action to prevent your vampire from being diablerized when blocked? My thoughts were no it didn't prevent you from being diablerized, but it might prevent the blocker from tapping. What do you think? Comments Welcome, Norman S. Brown, Jr. XZealot Archon of the Swamp

Ah. Quite right. No diablerie after the action ends. Thanks. [ quoted text not captured ]

[ quoted text not captured ] So is that a reversal? Can you spell it out for me? You know us guys from Louisiana aren't the quickest horses in the stable. Can you play Change of Target on a Leave torpor action to prevent your vampire from being diablerized when blocked? Comments Welcome, Norman S. Brown, Jr [ quoted text not captured ]

Sorry. Forgot with whom I was dealing. :-) Yes. Playing Change of Target ends the action, thwarting any possibility of combat or diablerie (barring Direct Intervention, etc.). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Change of Target keeps them from attempting the same leave torpor action, however, so if they try cardlessly then CoT, they can't try cardlessly again. They could Rapid Healing, though.

If you try to leave torpor, get blocked, they don't diablerize, and you Freak Drive, you can try again cardlessly, for sure. But I don't think you can if you Change of Target while trying to leave torpor - Change of Target is more restrictive (can't try the "same action" again) than the current No Repeat Actions rule. You can try to leave torpor, Change of Target, Rapid Healing, though, yeah. Josh back, and forth

My bad, and apologies to anyone who gets stuck in torpor because of my foolishness. [ quoted text not captured ]

And if I've understood this correctly, Krassimir could use his/her ability to cancel the leave torpor action and try again later. Although this is sort of fringe since the blocker stays untapped. Well, excluding wakes and such. --CV
