I did a quick search on Mata and jack of both sides, Mata and pier, Mata and magic, Mata and concealed. None of them gave me anything. So I was wondering, does Mata Hari's ability allow her to get cards using her ability when the card she wants isn't played in the normal manner? (eg: Pier 13, Magic of the Smith, Jack of Both Sides, etc.) After some musings my playgroup was thinking 'no', as the cards brought into play by these other cards are not "played" in the normal manner, and Mata only allows her to *play* (read: played from hand) cards that she wouldn't otherwise be able to play. Confirm/deny? -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'yahoo' to email)

Yes, the idea of cleaning up "played as normal" is on deck. http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/6d4f0aef88e43532
