ALEX HARMON#
Just a couple of questions for the rulemongers out there.
1) Let's say that during the course of a game Vampire X equips with some
equipment and has Fame placed on him/her. Later in the game another
player brings out from his/her uncontrolled region Vampire X. Both
players contest for a period of time but in the end the player who
brought out Vampire X wins the contest. Vampire X is flipped over for
that player.
Question: First, is Vampire X tapped or untapped after being flipped over
and into play? Secondly, does the Fame and the equipment from the other
copy of Vampire X get placed onto this copy? or are those items/Fame
simply discarded by the player who lost the contest?
2) My playgroup has had some questions as to the timing of cards such as
Pulled Fangs. Let's say for example that in combat Vampire A strikes for
1 hand damage while Vampire B strikes for 1 hand damage. During strike
resolution Vamp A prevents the 1 damage while Vamp B takes 1 damage.
Question: Assuming that Vamp B does not inflict any damage to Vamp A
(even with additional strikes) is Vamp A allowed to play Pulled Fangs
since it did more damage at close and also because Vamp B failed to
prevent the damage during the strike resolution phase in which it took
its 1 point of damage? In other words, is Vamp B allowed to prevent
damage later for a strike after that particular strike's resolution phase
has passed?
Thanks in advance...
