LSJ: Serpentis Questions

Well I looked for answers and couldn't find them and i'm sure some one will quickly prove to me they are on the newgroup but here goes anyway: Superior The Jones: Can it be used to cancel a default hand strike? Do they get another default hand strike if you do so? Typhonic Beast: Is this card affected by Resilient Mind? In a game last night we decided no as the effects of the cards are on the playing minion rather than the other minion in combat. The increased strength and damage prevention are essentially side effects of the card. Whats the 411?

Clearly the press and the prevention are not effects on the opponent. Damage done with the +1 str is arguably an effect of the card but I doubt LSJ sees it that way. > Whats the 411? No idea.
