I have recently had a game in which I had black cat with the rowan ring vs Quinton Macdonald.I used the strike:paralyse on him and he used blood rage.I thought he was paralysed but he argued that weapons against blood rage have no effect.I looked on the card and it said that weapons used against blood rage do NO DAMAGE not HAVE NO EFFECT.I gave up arguing and let him have his way but I would like official confirmation one way or the other.Have I been cheated? In article <min4mnhw....@leeds.ac.uk>, [ quoted text not captured ] Well, paralyze is listed as a special combat effect, not as damage, and Blood Rage does specify damage, so I'd say that the Ring is indeed going to paralyze Quinton. | If you've got a hot lead on a new | *--Joe--* | PC game, call the announce line at | js...@vt.edu | ** csi...@discus.ise.vt.edu ** | +-------------------------------------+---------------------------------- "There. Now if only they'd get rid of that obfuscate symbol on Concealed Weapon. --------- Paul Schaaf sch...@u.washington.edu

.

Blood Rage is actually a Thaumaturgy card, right? I had been told this by someone and it makes sense, because Thaumaturgy has one too few cards, while Fortitude has one too many and Blood Rage resembles Blood Fury.

Blood Rage has errata to be a Thaumaturgy card. This errata was released in early May. Tom Wylie rec.games.trading-cards.* Network Representative for aa...@cats.ucsc.edu Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
