Once rescued, the formerly Paralyzed Vampire will untap as normal during its Methuselah's untap phase. It doesn't untap only while it is paralyzed (in torpor). -- L. Not really, I think. A parylyzed vampire can be rescued by any other vampire at no blood cost. No card is required for the action. A paralyzed vampire is in torpor, and can't block, so Cat's Guidance is not playable. I'm not sure if Rat's Warning and Wake is playable on a torporized, tapped vampire, but there won't be any effect anyway. Now Charnes the Imp is a much more cruel thing, IMO. -- "Live Life with Heart." Alan Kwan kw...@cs.cornell.edu

If I'm correct then paralize (use the rowan ring) is one of the most powerfull weapons. If you're paralized then the only way to use your vamp is use wake with evening's freshness or rat's warning/cat's guidance. I think if you use the rowan ring against a vamp with a blood capacity of >8 it is a cruwel thing to do. Some people don't have one of the above cards. Have I understand the rules?? Please help me on this???

[ quoted text not captured ] I think you're giving paralyze more credit then it's due. Granted it's a nice card to have,(Rowan ring or Stake), but when the vamp is rescued (or if you can rescue yourself with movement of the slow body) that vamp is no longer paralyzed. In fact, it now gets the piece of equipment that was used to paralyze it.... But I'm sure they won't hold a grudge or anything. My recommendation, if you paralyze someone, take the opportunity to diablerize them,... it's usually worth the risk. Later, Scott.
