Or, if Josh goes, he might make some interesting changes to the dum(tm)

Tajdid has its effect, stacked on top of RtC's.

No.

That would make the card too complicated.
These are well-defined terms that go away. They are also easier to explain as
"global changes" in a story context.

Clans where the majority of their members have the said trait are considered
to be clans "of that type" for this event.
Yes, Gargoyles are a "Slave clan" even if none of your Gargoyles are actually
Slaves.
And no, even if your crypt has 9 Midgets, Malkavian Antitribu are not an
Infernal Clan.
No reason to make this particular rule more complex when it simply amounts to
someone getting an extra free booster or something.

Tajdid has a redundant effect. That is not to say that it has no effect.

Before I describe the special rules, though, here's some supporting
fiction by Ben Swainbank (with some flourishes based on the results of
our Infernal Plague event):
.....................................
One night in October, 2004.
A penthouse apartment, New York City:
"So here you are. Still parked in front the television?" Talley strode into
the vast living room. The Archbishop lay sprawled in font of the plasma
screen, sharing a leather couch with two semi-conscious, semi-clothed, and
drained looking women.
"Its almost over." Francisco replied. "I gave the Yankees my usual special
incentives. I'm just making sure my investment pays off. The Sox'll need a
miracle to even see game 5."
Talley regarded the screen without interest. "Jacko and some of the boys are
talking about taking a war party to Boston when this is over. Tear up
Faneuil Hall, rub it in their faces . show those Cammies how we do it in the
big city."
Francisco Domingo smiled. "I could approve of that. Not that they'll ask."
Italy. A villa outside of Milan:
Two women stood on vine covered terrace, looking up a blood red moon. Each
held a goblet of warm vitae.
The elder spoke. "So, Lia. tell me the news from America."
"We're making great progress. We're very close now. The tunneling team are
now only 600 meters from the main chamber." The young Giovanni spoke
rapidly. "Already, we can feel powerful emanations. It feels strange.
liberating, somehow. I don't know how to describe it."
Regina Giovanni turned, looked at her knowingly, and smiled. Centuries of
anticipation . finally they would see for themselves. "Continue..."
"We have some concerns" Lia Milliner continued her report. "The Prince
suspects something. There are others as well."
"Indeed. The Inner Circle itself seems to have taken a personal interest in
the recent outbreak of the infernalists in your fair city. No one is sure if
your Prince requested their help. or if he might have been the cause of
their concern. And Arika may have won that little squabble, but there are
rumors that she didn't escape entirely. untainted.
No matter. We couldn't keep our secret forever. We have plans. And we can't
stop now." The elder took a sip from her goblet and savored the salty taste.
"The fine taxpayers are just about to get their moneys worth."
A cold, damp tunnel more than a mile below the city of Boston:
Shadows flittered against the hard stone wall as small creatures scratched
at the thick shale in the darkness. A large section of wall crumbed and a
hulking beast emerged, shaking the rocks from his body and extending a huge
set of wings from one side of the tunnel to the other.
Just then, a small white mouse can hopping down from the open end of the
tunnel and sniffed about. Following it came a man dressed in a white robe.
As he reached the end, a blue flame danced about his fingertips illuminating
his face and a flowing white beard.
"Hello, Pugfar. I thought I would come check on your progress. You need to
pick up the pace. We have a schedule to keep."
The gargoyle picked up a boulder and crushed it into dust in his massive
paws. "Yesss.master." The blue flames reflected in his stone eyes.

SPECIAL RULES:
In the middle of each table there will be a special card, called
"Reverse the Curse", with the following text (Graphical version
is forthcoming):
Reverse the Curse
Event
Gehenna
Requires at least 2 other Gehenna cards in play. There is no Blood
Curse. The terms "Infernal", "Scarce", "Sterile", and "Slave" have no
effect (but are still keywords).
===================
Further special rules:
0) Standard Storyline rules apply. 75% of your crypt must be of the
same clan, and Recalled To the Founder is banned.
1) Reverse the Curse takes effect immediately when/if a second Gehenna
Event enters play. It has no controller, but may be burned with Black
Hand Ritual as an action blockable by any other Methuselah (resolve
blocking priority like Eagle's Sight).
2) If Powerbase: New York is in play, Reverse the Curse may not enter play.
If Powerbase: New York leaves play, and Reverse the Curse's prerequisites
are met, then Reverse the Curse comes into play during the next discard
phase.
3) When Reverse the Curse enters play, any ready vampire with a Boston
or New York title (even if it is currently being contested) fills to
capacity, and any vampire in the uncontrolled region with a Boston or
New York title (even if that title would contest one in play) gains
enough blood until he or she has blood at least equal to half of his or
her capacity (round up).
4) If you are playing a Blood Cursed, Infernal, Sterile, Scarce, or
Slave clan, and you get a table sweep (4 vps, even at a 5 player
table), you will receive a special prize to be determined later.
5) Record any quotes, and interesting events or actions of any of the
characters in the fiction. "Good stuff" will carry over to the next
Boston storyline, as our continuity further diverges from canon :)
Anything canonically Boston-related that is not in the fiction should
also be recorded if you know, as well as anything interesting that
happens with Ingram Frizer or with Redline.
Hope to see you there!

#1. So if Reverse the Curse is in play (and there is no Blood Curse). And then
Tajdid is played, it has no effect? So when Reverse the Curse is removed from
the game, since Tajdid was already played and had no effect, Assamites still
can't commit diablerie?
#2. What about the Daughters of Cacophony? Just because their disadvantage
isn't exactly uniform, shouldn't they be free of their intercept curse?
Similarly, how about the Caitiff and Pander? Don't they deserve to be free of
their disadvantages?
#3. And many other crappy vampires deserve to be have their curse reversed as
well. The 5-caps with only 4 disciplines, Jacob the Glitch, etc.

What is an Infernal, Sterile, Scarce, or Slave clan? Blood Curse is the only
trait that is truly tied to a clan (despite the fact that Tariq, Yazid, and
Reza are all not affected).
Yes, all the printed Ahrimanes and Blood Brothers are Sterile but that is due
to card text, not a trait inherent to the clan. (Clan Impersonation + Embrace
leads to non-sterile members of the clan). Similar things could be said about
Scarce and Slave.
And even when you talk about "Slave", is Gargoyles necessary a "Slave" clan?
Ferox, Ferox (Adv), Obsidian, and Erinyi are all non-slave and it's perfectly
feasible to play a non-slave Gargoyle deck.

Oops, I must have posted the wrong version of my rules.. I took out the
"(but are still keywords)" bit in my last draft.
The noted terms have no effect at all.

Note that much of Sterile's effect is redundantly achieved by other
cards' use of that keyword. e.g.:
Name: The Embrace
[Jyhad:R2, VTES:R, CE:R2]
Cardtype: Action
Cost: 2 blood
Capacity: 1 capacity
Requires a ready {non-Sterile} vampire. +1 stealth action.
Put this card in play; it becomes a 1 capacity vampire. This vampire is not
considered unique, must hunt this turn, and is the same clan as the acting
vampire.

No. It is redundant. It doesn't fizzle.
A: There is no Blood Curse.
B: The Blood Curse no longer prevents Assamites from committing diablerie.
Remove A and you've still got:
B: The Blood Curse no longer prevents Assamites from committing diablerie.

But since Reverse the Curse states that there is no Blood Curse, then Tajdid
(which makes it so the Blood Curse no longer prevent blah blah blah) cannot
have an effect. Tajdid is predicated on doing something to the Blood Curse, but
since that object disappears (i.e invalid target) wouldn't it just sorta
fizzle?

Correct. I thought about putting a special contingency for Circle,
but had to stop the "exception rules" somewhere.

Note that the Embraces will not be of any particular circle -- they'll
each be in their own isolated circles of one vampire each.
