Fast Reaction/Form of Mist question

Ok, here's a wierd one. My predator comes in to bleed me with a minion, which I block with one of my minions. He plays 'Form of Mist', and since he has superior the action continues at plus one stealth. Can I play a 'Fast Reaction' card and enter combat again (with another minion, of course)? Common sense would say yes. BUT- once that round of combat is over, does my predator's minion get to continue his action at the plus one stealth? What happens if I put that minion into torpor during the resulting combat? I would assume that the action is aborted (as if it were blocked). Just wanted to check, since my predator's "Strike, combat ends, pay one pool to untap" deck is starting to REALLY annoy me.. and this seems to be the only way I could conceivably fight back.
