Protected Resources

I need a clarification on Protected Resources. "If this card is in play, another Methuselah cannot bleed you for more than 2 pool." If the condition of the card is not met: "Burn this card if you successfully bleed another Methuselah." how far does the first statement go. Does it mean that another Methuselah cannot bleed me for more than two PERIOD? Does it mean that another Methuselah cannoth bleed me for more than two in a round? Or does it mean that another Methuselah cannot bleed me for more than two per vampire?
