[LSJ] Wounded - Undead Persistance - Ready Vampire

Is a wounded vampire still considered ready vampire? question I ask because there are cards to play in combat on a READY vampire, but after playing undead persistance/trap on a vampire, is he still considered ready after the first press stage? Thanx.
