This time I'm pretty sure > they all contest so how do you determine which ones burn? ; A unique vampire doesn't contest a non-unique vampire. Non-unique vampires ; never contest. If you get a Seeds on a second one (so that you now have two ; unique vampires), burn the second one (the one most recently made unique). Argh !! please LSJ do something ! So Fidai and Aabt kindred with a Seed of corruption become unique ?? don't you find this pathetic ? Why not decide that the sentence "this vamp is not unique and cannot be contested" is, like (blood cursed) or (independant) unaffected by seeds of corruption ? it would be much easier to catch... By the way, being not unique is not an ability, it's a restriction ! In the world of darkness where everyone struggle to be the toughest vampire on earth when the antediluvians will come, how can you be happy when you haven't got a name ? ;) And if they are all the same fidai, how can you put fame on one of them ? you can't even recognize who is who ? and what about the contract you put on someone, and "name an assamite" with no name... Do all the fidai go for the bruise ? ;) I've always thought that seeds of corruption is a strange cards, but it's time to make it clear and simple. pleaaaaaaase Mr rulemonger!

Text says "are not unique" and "do not contest", so it certainly seems like a restriction (prohibiting them from following the normal rules for contesting). Good call. [ quoted text not captured ] I doubt it. Seeds has a great deal of card text already. It would not be possible to describe the nature of a "restriction" on the card text. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ]

Having a reminder text for each ability specifying wether it is a special ability or a restriction would certainly help in regards to Seeds of Corruption, but unless more cards affect special abilities/restrictions, it would probably be too much trouble. [ quoted text not captured ] Or better yet, different colored text.
