Heart of Darkness question [LSJ or others]

Hi! Heart of Darkness text: Inferior: "Put this card on the acting vampire. Aggravated damage taken by this vampire is changed to normal damage. (...) Superior: "As above, and prevent 1 damage to the vampire each combat." Question 1: Can the vampire with this card use it after playing a Force of Will, to change the 2 aggravated damage to 2 normal damage? Question 2: Can a vampire have more than 1 HoD "with him"?
