Greetings Player A plays a Malkvaian Time Auction on his war ghoul. The bidding starts. Scenario A: At what point would it be legal too tap the war ghoul to destroy a location (and the war ghoul) and what would happen to the bids placed so far? Scenario B: A War Ghoul is Spirit marionetted. Can you tap war ghoul to destroy a location before bleeding? Correct. You resolve the effect before moving on. >>Scenario B: A War Ghoul is Spirit marionetted. Can you tap war ghoul to >>destroy a location before bleeding? > > yes. You resolve the effect before moving on. Does this resolution of bidding apply to Heidleberg useage as well? Rob [ quoted text not captured ]

This resolution of effects (effects are resolved when played) applies to everything unless otherwise stated (e.g., actions and strikes do not resolve when played - they resolve later during their respective resolution steps). You can't use a Heidelberg in the middle of Time Auction, no - the auction is part of the resolution. More importantly, you can't use it in the middle of Hostile Takeover or Temptation of Greater Power et al. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Lucky that my breasts are small and humble, EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 So you don't confuse them with mountains. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D
