Soul Gem of Etrius question

Hi all Just a quick scenario: Vamp A has a soul gem and a skill card, he also posseses some random usable once per turn card text. If that vamp is burned in my minon phase and is replaced by the same vampire am I free to use the card text again? I assume so as it is not "the same minion" but another copy. Is this true or not? and if not why not? Thanks Sutekh_23
