If minion A enters combat with minion B via Bum's Rush or Haven Uncovered (or Wynn...) is minion B tapped or not (providing he wasn't tapped before combat, of course) ? If minion A enters combat with minion B via Bum's Rush or Haven Uncovered (or Wynn...) can minion B block this action (in order to prevent optional maneuver from Bum's Rush, or to spend unwanted intercept cards) ? Yes you can block the Bun's Rush and prevent the the optional maneuver and or to spend intercept cards > > Braddock. > > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

(Please note that we at Ramstein define rush as the action of one minion attacking another methuselah's minion to initate combat. This is not to be confused with Bum's Rush, the card) If Minion B is blocking the Bum's Rush action, the use of intercept is not possible unless the attacker uses stealth modifiers after your announced block attempt. The blocked Bum's Rush would stop the attacker from gaining the maneuver and Minion B would then be tapped after combat. If Minion B is blocking a Haven Uncovered or Wynn "rush", the use of intercept cards is required and again, would be tapped after combat. Since there is nothing that says to tap minion B, he is not tapped. > If minion A enters combat with minion B via Bum's Rush or Haven Uncovered > (or Wynn...) can minion B block this action (in order to prevent optional > maneuver from Bum's Rush, or to spend unwanted intercept cards) ? Yes. B can attempt to block any action directed at B's controller. See section 6.2.2.1 of the rules. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. No. Unless card text explicitely states the a vampire should tap (ie, Deflection), the only reason a minion ever taps is to act or to block. Since, in the above situation, minion B did not block, minion B is not tapped. > If minion A enters combat with minion B via Bum's Rush or Haven Uncovered > (or Wynn...) can minion B block this action (in order to prevent optional > maneuver from Bum's Rush, or Yes. You can block any action that is directed at your or one of the minions you control, an undirected action taken by your predator/prey or any action on the table if you use superior Eagle's Sight or have Anneke. The rules of stealth and intercept apply in all the above cases. Now, since the action is directed at minion B, minion B can block successfuly so long as minion B has greater than or equal intercept than minion A has stealth. > to spend unwanted intercept cards) ? You can only gain intercept if you need it. That is, you cannot play any intercept cards unless the action you are attempting to block has more stealth than you have intercept. Since Bum's Rush is a 0 stealth action and minion B has 0 intercept, minion B does not need the intercept and as such cannot play it.
