1st 5 players game in tournament environment with 2 rounds and a final. My prey already did 2 VP and I won't be able to oust him within the time limit, but I'm in real danger to be ousted myself cause my predator is really aggressive. Since I'm playing a political deck, I throw any damage I can deal to my pred to oust him before he can kill me, giving another VP to my prey, who will oust me immediately after. In this situation, only 1 player managed to score 5 VP, and he gained a lot of advantage in reaching the final, but I took advantage too cause the others 4 players did 0 VP, and I have another chance to reach the final doing well in the second round. That is, only 1 player with 5 VP is better than 2 or 3 players with 1-2-2 VP if you try to reach the final, no? Can this behaviour be considerd unsporting because of the indifference towards the prey (and so towards gaining VP)?

It sounds to me like you are just trying to stay alive. There is nothing wrong with the actions you are going to take--even if they benefit your prey. > Since I'm playing a political deck, I throw any damage I can > deal to my pred to oust him before he can kill me, giving another VP to my > prey, who will oust me immediately after. Yes. [clip] > Can this behaviour be considerd unsporting because of the indifference > towards the prey (and so towards gaining VP)? No. -Robert

That's up to the judge. If there are no other circumstances to be considered, then I'd say you're fine (since you state that you were unable to gain any more VPs anyhow, so you haven't sacrificed your position). >That is, only 1 player with 5 VP is better than 2 or 3 players with >1-2-2 VP if you try to reach the final, no? This cannot be a factor in the judge's deciding if your actions are legal, since this is not an in-game goal. Fortunately by your premise, this was not a factor. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
