I'm having trouble finding where it says the restrictions on what equipment allies can use. There are different kinds of allies, like animal, mortal, and non-mortal, and you would think there would be some restrictions, but I don't know what they are. Anyone care to enlighten me? Can my underbridge stray tote an assault rifle? Thanks, Brandon

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes. Most equipment restrictions are clan based so obviously your allies can't equip with them. Even so, they can USE most of the equipment with clan restrictions as well. Some say "The so-and-so-clan vampire with this equipment..." so allies (or other vampires) can't use those. Also, allies can't use equipment or locquipment which has a blood cost since they have life. Kittehs with guns ftw! Jeff

[ quoted text not captured ] I would say they can USE it, they just can't equip it. If there was a way to get it onto them, they could use it. Unless, by blood cost, you mean a blood cost to "activate" the equipment, like the blood cost of Guarded Rubrics to bleed with it, for example. Vegas gNat

If so that is incorrect.

[ quoted text not captured ] No. He's just noting, as the person he quoted noted, that there is a difference between being able to play the card and being able to USE the card in play. You can discern the aim of his post by the way he mimics the emphasis on the word "USE" as the previous author had done when emphasizing that difference.
