"Unique master. Put this card in play. While in play, this card
represents a mortal ally with 1 life, 0 strength and 0 blood. During
your untap phase, you may burn Jake to move up to 4 blood from the
blood bank to a ready vampire with no blood."
He was the rare from one of my boosters and I was glad that the others
chose not to draft him before I got a chance. He doesn't seem as good
as Millicent or the MVH though and isn't much of a Hunter. What's
supposed to be going on here? The only incident that comes to mind is
when Buffy let Angel feed from her which put her in hospital. I think
I'm going to call him "Jake Whassup" - the guy to call when you feel
like a drink ...

As far as I can tell, he's an emergency blood bag -- an inept hunter,
if you will. He's also a perfectly adequate platform for things like
Cloaked Computer Hackings, chump blocking, or Vozhd (War Ghoul) fodder.
Since he's a master card in the ash heap, he can't be turned into
a Shambling Whore, and he's not Compellable, which is sub-optimal
as far as the Giovanni are concerned. And he's Cryptic Mission/Shadow
Twin bait, of course.
He's too fragile to last very long once in play, and the vampire
has to be empty at untap, which is not _that_ common of an occurrence
(low? yes. empty? not so often). So he's kind of marginal, all things
considered. But funny.

That reminds me of the Society of Leopold HQ in West London in the
computer game. For some reason, they have bags of blood plasma lying
around all over the place and the staff are good to snack on too ...

Empty a vampire with Free States Rant, steal him with Form of
Corruption, feed him with Jake. Repeat.

Never played a Ravnos deck, have you?

Can Jake Washington take actions the turn during which
you play that Unique Master? Or does he go into the
uncontrolled region until the end of the influence phase
as recruited allies do?

The former.

Another Q: If Jake has been in play (as an ally) and is burned, does he
remain an ally in the graveyard or a Master Card (or both)? Can be important
with regards to Shambling horde
Jeroen.

That guy just made my deck, and will be the all-star of my
allies deck that's bumping around inside my head.
First turn Jake Washington; Jake recruits Akhenaten,
The Sun Pharoh. I influence for 1, no discard, your turn.
Also good for a grab the edge computer hack on the
first turn.

Even Better. Play jake in your first turn, influence a small Tzim,
second turn: charisma + War ghoul.
