Rudolfo Giovanni get's a Fortitude skill card and a Soul Gem. He recruits a Shambler, and plays Daring the Dawn, thus burning. Shambling Horde's text says remove a vamp from the game - does Rudolfo qualify? Or has he not yet burned when Shambling needs to check for the ally or vamp to burn. best - chris Cost 3 Zombie with 3 life, 0 bleed, 0 strength When Shambling Hordes enters play, remove an ally or vampire in your ash heap from the game or burn Shambling Hordes. Shambling Hordes gets +1 strength for each life counter it has. Shambling Hordes can never gain life counters; any life counters it gains go to the blood bank instead. Shambling Hordes can enter combat with any ready minion controlled by another Methuselah as a (D) action. As above, with 4 life best - chris -- Super Fun Cards http://stores.ebay.com/superfuncards/ auctions@superfuncards.com

Should have put LSJ in the title the first time to show it's a question, not a deck... best - chris librarian wrote: > Rudolfo Giovanni get's a Fortitude skill card and a Soul Gem. > > He recruits a Shambler, and plays Daring the Dawn, thus burning. > Shambling Horde's text says remove a vamp from the game - does Rudolfo > qualify? As the card text explicates, the removal or burning effect occurs "when Shambling Hordes is put into play", which is during the resolution of the recruit ally action. The aggravated damage from Daring the Dawn explicitly occurs "after the action resolves". The burned Rudolfo will definitely not be in the ash heap for the Shambling Hordes. However, this probably would not be a major problem for a deck built around a silly trick like this. You'll just need to get another minion into your ash heap before bringing out the first Horde, as usual, but burned copies of Rudolfo will work for subsequent ones.

I'm a little taken aback by your thread title. Just because Rudolfo decides to wear a piece of jewelry, that does not make someone a poof. That's for Rudolfo to decide, if he wants to. Really, you think we are finally living in the 20th century, and still this prejudice... -UniqueMaster ; )

Racism and homophobia really went out of fashion between the the 1960s and 80s. But since then they've been having their comeback, and now in the 21st century they're cool again!

What is this 21st century you fellows speak of? I certainly don't have my flying folding suitcase/car and my Food-a-Rac-a-Cycle. Until then, I'm staying in the 20th. -UniqueMaster ; )
