Name: Blood Weakens [Gehenna:R] Cardtype: Event Gehenna. Do not replace until a vampire commits diablerie. Cards that (a minion plays that) require any Disciplines to play are not replaced until the end of the current action or until any Methuselah's hand is empty (whichever comes first). Any vampire who commits diablerie is immune to this effect until the next Gehenna card is played. Artist: Jeff Holt Blood Weakens is in play. Two vampires, R and S neither who have diablerized since BW was played, enter combat. Vampire R has 4 Raptors at ANI. Meth R discards down to three hand size. Vampires R and S each play two cards requiring disciplines. Meth R has 1 card in hand and Meth S has 5 cards in hand. Vampire R plays another card requiring disciplines. Who draws up to maximum hand size? Both Meth R and S or just Meth R? Jeff

[ quoted text not captured ] Whoops, forgot my follow on question. The additional discipline-requiring card Vampire R played was a press to continue combat. In round 2 of combat, Vampire R plays additional cards requiring disciplines. Are those replaced as normal, or must Meth R's hand be empty before redrawing those. Thanks. Jeff

[ quoted text not captured ] The answer lies in your own post: "until *any* Methuselah's hand is empty". Thus both meths can redraw to their current hand size (7 and 3 respectively) in your example.

They are not replaced until someone's hand (R's or otherwise) is empty.

Assuming R has the Raptors, note that while R has the 4 Raptors and is in combat with S, S's 'maximum hand size' (for what they should draw up to) is 3. -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'gmail' to email) "In *my* Assamite deck, this would pwn you in teh FAEC, so shut up."
