The main purpose of the mailing list as i see it is distributing information to the princes not the players in general and 99,99 % of the information there is about tournaments, prizes, formats and other "boring" administrative problems. Besides, the post from Steve that you refer to wasnt a "HERES-THE-LATEST-NEWS" kinda post. It was mentioned as a sidenote in a reply to a post regarding Pre-release tournaments and the problems regarding what format to use with 3 precon decks. PS: I dont think 24 hours is a long time for a thing like this. I mean, it will be what, 3-4 months before the set is even here?
