This was posted on vtesinla.org. Is it true? --------------------------------------- It is just a little bit of news but here you have it... "There’s 3 precon starters (Gangs, Barons, Gangrel) and boosters. We’ll save the rest for closer to release." Regards, Steve Wieck White Wolf

Three starters is kind of a funky number. Curious about the Gangs starter. Guessing some kinda weenie combat nastiness?? Would be nice to see if the Caitiff get thier own starter after having been left out of the CE. BernieTime [ quoted text not captured ]

So, your saying that the Princes list, the mailing list designed to distribute information to the players, with hundreds of people on it, not one single volunteer from that list could be bothered to disburse that information? I hope the volunteer's are doing the rest of their jobs better than this. Carpe noctem. Lasombra http://www.TheLasombra.com

[ quoted text not captured ] Sounds like one did, or you wouldn't have found out about it. Seriously, not even 24 hours have passed since the first announcement on the prince list. I can't see how this is cause for derision. The three decks are formally: Gangrel Anarch Barons Anarch Gangs -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. This is from a post Steve Wieck has sent to the Conclave mailing list (that of the VEKN princes). Regards, Hardy Range Prince of Bochum http://www.vekn.de/main/vekn/playgroups/bochum

I just wanted to make sure that it was okay to put it out to the public or whether it was a snafu. [ quoted text not captured ]

The main purpose of the mailing list as i see it is distributing information to the princes not the players in general and 99,99 % of the information there is about tournaments, prizes, formats and other "boring" administrative problems. Besides, the post from Steve that you refer to wasnt a "HERES-THE-LATEST-NEWS" kinda post. It was mentioned as a sidenote in a reply to a post regarding Pre-release tournaments and the problems regarding what format to use with 3 precon decks. PS: I dont think 24 hours is a long time for a thing like this. I mean, it will be what, 3-4 months before the set is even here?
