This card is creating so many problems (there's at least one post about it here each week). The new players avoid using it, because it's both complicated and misued, thus creating heated debates. Anyway, 1) Can a minion that successfuly blocked play Obedience? 2) If yes, is he tapped? And in general, 3) If a minion blocks is he "instantly" tapped (and thus unable to play further reaction cards before combat begins), or blocking and tapping take place in a different step? Thanks for the help

[ quoted text not captured ] OBEDIENCE [Jyhad, V:TES, Sabbat, SW] Cardtype: Reaction Discipline: Dominate Only usable when this reacting vampire is about to enter combat with an acting younger vampire. [dom] This vampire is not tapped and combat does not occur; untap the acting vampire. The acting vampire is blocked and cannot attempt the same action this turn. [DOM] As above, but do not untap the acting vampire. By card text ; 1) Yes. 2)No. 3) Tap just before combat begins. reyda

Correct. Note that 2) assumes he was untapped before the block. If he blocked via wakey, he remains tapped. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
