If my predator has a vamp whit a blessing and i try a kine resources contested will just attempting to block my vote be enough to not allow me to play voter cap or awe ? sounds a little over powered to me ...

[ quoted text not captured ] I hope it is enough... Otherwise my DoC Dementation deck would become obsolete. -1 intercept is a wonderful thing, when you want only to attempt to block. :) -- Antti Siponen

And it's not particularly overpowered, given the numbers of ways to stop it (block the action to put BoC on the minion, play Seduction so he can't attempt to block, rush that vamp into torpor, etc). Besides which, you could argue that Awe or Voter Captivations are equally overpowered - at every tournament I've ever seen, there's at least two decks using Voter Cap/Awe; at one Lambach-storyline tournament 6 of 10 decks were Presence vote. I've never, ever seen Blessing of Chaos at a table, even in casual play. (Though I suspect I will be seeing more of it soon.) Yes, Blessing of Chaos can hurt Presence vote decks or Dominate bleed-modifier decks. That's part of the game; just about every powerful strategy has a simple counter. (Rush? Secure Haven! Intercept wall? Daring the Dawn! Combat ends? Immortal Grapple! Immortal Grapple? High Ground on a flight minion! and so on.) The trick is figuring out what defenses to use in your limited-card-slot decks. -John Flournoy

[ quoted text not captured ] yes you can since the Blessing only recueres a block attempt to cause it's effect see card text. Blessing of Chaos [Sabbat:R, CE:PM] Cardtype: Action Cost: 1 blood Discipline: Dementation +1 stealth action. [dem] Put this card on the acting vampire. If this vampire attempts to block, the acting vampire cannot play action modifiers requiring Dementation, Chimerstry, Dominate or Presence. Vampires opposing this vampire in combat cannot play cards that require those Disciplines. [DEM] As above, and actions requiring those Disciplines cannot be directed at this vampire. > > you just had to replay eh emile ? > > peter . you mean reply? but peter is right; its an action which CAN be use full against 2 of the best disiplines (I dont have to explane the 2, do I?) so you put a card in your deck which isnt usefull against all decks. cards like sudden reversal, DI or deflection. You are ectually using a card slot against 3 of the so many disiplines! no I would say that the blessing of chaos is a crap card. If you have an opponent which is focused on one of those disiplines you get lucky, but otherwise is a waste of cardslot and action. Conclusion: bring out more counter-disipline cards, not to destroy m entirely, but to weaken m drasticly (since you have actualy taken the oppentunity to play the action card). blessing rocks! but it has its restrictions. Well DUH I already told you on thursday but would you believe me? NO!!! [ quoted text not captured ] *LOL* hmmm perhaps you should post when you're sober then Jeroen saves you a lot of typo's (I'm posting this one after Stair Way):P As for blessing I think it's an absolute power card but it's not broken considering the amount of vampires who have DEM. If you play it in a Malk or !Malk deck it's realy not that usefull since you usually tap out on bleeding with those decks. And as jeroen said it's usefullnes is marginal only against those four disciplines. And it is another card slot, in the famous words of Marten "when building a deck always consider if the cards you put in should be a GtU" Emile "We are an ape with a symbiotic relationship with a mushroom"
