Dear Older Vampires: I realize that minions cannot take the same action twice in one turn. However, can one minion use two of the same cards during an action?? For example, Sammy tries to bleed. Sammy is blocked by Dre. Sammy uses Cloak the Gathering. Dre uses KRCG. At this point, can Sammy throw out another Cloak the Gathering so that he's running at 2 stealth?? Or can he only use, e.g., Faceless Night?? OK, let's say that Dre cannot get his intercept up enough to block Sammy. Can Sebastian Marley, another of my prey's minions, still attempt to block?? Or does my prey only get one shot at blocking? Say my predator's minion now tries to block. I presume that Sammy will still have 2 stealth for the remainder of the action (i.e. he doesn't reset after a failed block attempt). LMK! "I don't block." "Ok, I'll just play these four Conditionings..." > OK, let's say that Dre cannot get his intercept up enough to block > Sammy. Yes, he can try again with another vampire. > Say my predator's minion now tries to block. Yes, that stealth goes nowhere if someone doesn't especially remove it. -- -- for more info msaari finger msa...@tukki.jyu.fi @jyu.fi 273 "quantum physics: the dreams that stuff is made of"

Think about this: "I'll > bleed." "I don't block." "Ok, I'll just play these four Conditionings..." Correct: the "same minion" cannot play the same action modifier twice on a given action. (likewise for reaction cards). Note that even without the rule limiting action modifiers, Conditioning still could not be played in series due to explicit card text. > > OK, let's say that Dre cannot get his intercept up enough to block > > Sammy. Correct, alterations to stealth and intercept apply for the duration of the action, by default. > > -- > -- > for more info msaari > finger msa...@tukki.jyu.fi @jyu.fi > 273 "quantum physics: the dreams that stuff is made of" -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
