Parminedes control confusion!

Erm, I'm just a little bit confused about this: I'm running out of pool and for a last ditch effort I influenced Parminedes (assamite four cap)and sent him to play, with his innate ability, my predator gets to contol him at once but he'll go back to my control on my next turn. The problem is, if i'm ousted before I get to my next turn, will my predator control permanides permanently? Or will he "float" in limbo (no one gets to control him since his original controler's gone)??? Well? Second Question: If Parmineded gets banished (a political action) successfully under my predator's control, we'll he go to his inactive region or my inactive region??

Your predator controls him "until your next untap phase", yes. > > The problem is, if i'm ousted before I get to my next turn, will my > predator control permanides permanently? If that never comes, your predator will control him indefinitely. > > Second Question: > If Parmineded gets banished (a political action) successfully under my > predator's control, we'll he go to his inactive region or my inactive > region?? Your uncontrolled region. Banishment breaks all temporary control effects. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. From the rulings page at WW: Temporary control effects are ended if the vampire is Banished, as normal, so the vampire would be placed in his previous (permanent) controller's uncontrolled region. [RTR 20000501] btw: I thought I had heard something about vampires going to their _owners_ uncontroled region if banished. nothing about it in the rulings, so I'm guessing I've just been hearing 'the voices' again...

Right. Banishment breaks temporary control only (and therefore sends the vampire to his permanent controller's uncontrolled region). A burned vampire (or any card sent to an ash heap) is sent to his owner's ash heap. Perhaps that's what the voices meant. :-) [ quoted text not captured ]
