Here is the tale of the rise of the Bahari, the efforts of the loyalists to stand against the rising darkness, and the fate of the bloodlines. http://www.vtesstorylines.com/PDFs/Storyline_BL_Aftermath.pdf -Ben Swainbank VTES Storyline Coordinator http://www.vtesstorylines.com

Sudden Reversal

Here's hoping it is not really, "The End".

[ quoted text not captured ] I hate what you did with this storyline. There was only clues (no statement) that Bahari are Infernalists (they could also be kind of salvation for the Infernalists according to other clues). So people often just took what was stronger in this storyline because they wanted simply to win (so for me in large percentage it was one big set up). I hate that you made Kiasyd bunch of totalitarian assholes that punish other opinions with death (it neither suit scholar bloodline nor changeling one and they are both and not bunch of UFO drivers). I'm glad that you did not resurrected dead vampires like you did earlier with Smiling Jack (It would be shame to read about members of warrior cast of the Salubri joining Baali). I like about aftermath 1 thing - how you explained Karsh ADV flaw. I also hope like Sudden Reversal that it is not the end of this card game.

[ quoted text not captured ] Is working now. Thanks Not really liking this. Is there ever gonna be a balanced storyline, or is they just a way to achieve a predefined agenda? Much discussion has been had about this and previous storylines' inability to present a balanced play style between factions. If it is too hard to balance 2 factions, would 3 not be better? And why the massive lusting after infernalism? it is getting rather boring now...

The outcome might depend on who was dominant within the faction. >So people often just took what was stronger in this storyline because they > wanted simply to win Nergal might agree with you there.

White Wolf seems to enjoy toying with their fanbase, so hopefully this is a prank. I did like how this "aftermath" was written to include things like Anthelios, Shatter the Gates, Shattering Crescendo, Blood Brothers w/Karsh, etc. Nice work writing it, I hope you didn't put yourself out of a job, Ben(and us out of a game)! Adams doesn't really mince words in the BL Intro. Being brought to justice seems for me as as statement of death when Justicar comes for someone and still we saw Jack Drake in storylines... Statement was that Kiasyd are close to changelings and are scholars. In this storyline they became like bunch of Nazis that burn books that are not politically correct and kill those that oppose them in their ranks. Participating in childish, noob satanist, bloody, gore ritual (lot of killing, reverse reading of Bible) does not sound like neither changeling style nor scholar style. Rev. Adams looks for me like mumbling madman and fanatic. Milenium Cultist was not bunch of good guys so It is at most hard to listen to Rev Adams. For religious fanatics all who think otherwise are spawns of hell. What is more M.C. suggested that he was just manipulated somehow by Nergal and not that he is oracle in any way. > > (they could also be kind of salvation for the Infernalists according to other clues). > > Indeed. What is more agreeing and participating in Baali bloody pit rituals with lots of sacrifices including vampire sacrifice sounds also like hard infernal statement. > >So people often just took what was stronger in this storyline because they > > wanted simply to win > > Nergal might agree with you there. He might but is it good for the game and for the fluff? I don't think so. BTW. Real Nergal - singer from metal band Behemoth have leukemia.

[ quoted text not captured ] Well, that explains why searching for "vampire insallah" didn't turn much up.

Even for you, Kevin, this is incredibly tactless, tasteless and just plain horrible. Really, you feel good about making a joke that someone has leukemia? Grow up.

It is taken as a joke, just a terribly tasteless and pathetic one. Really. Certain things require something called tact, try to understand...
