Hello! I have a question concerning Spiridonas (tremere). He may burn X+2 blood to get +X bleed. If he announces a +6 bleed and is blocked, Does he burn 8 blood or not ? Thank you for answers. Thibaut.

He does _not_ have to announce that he will burn blood until he gets through. He could, but he doesn't have to burn any blood unless the action is successful. Most players would declare the bleed with Spiridonas, then wait until the block was declared unsuccessful or the bleed unblocked. Then they would burn as much blood as necessary. Although Spiridonas would be fairer if he has to declare his bleed when the action begins, as card text he can wait.

This means that you should only declare that he is bleeding and wait to see if you are blocked. If not, then burn the blood for the +6 bleed. -- L.
