Scott (or some other "Scott-like" around! :-) ), if i play Approximation of Loyalty to cancel a WWEF on my prey's minion X, can that same minion play another WWEF? (i suppose no) Is it the same case as Direct Intervention (vs WWEF)? (i suppose yes) If my prey's minion X tries to play WWEF, can i play first a superior Iron Glare and then Approximation of Loyalty to cancel WWEF? (i suppose no) Thanks, .- Luis Duarte

If you cancel any reaction or action modifier as it is played, then, it is my understanding, that playing a second copy of that reaction or action modifier would violate the rules governing reactions and action modifiers, namely that only one of any one reaction or action modifier may be played by a minion on an action. > If my prey's minion X tries to play WWEF, can i play first a superior > Iron Glare and then Approximation of Loyalty to cancel WWEF? (i suppose > no) No, you must play the card to cancel another card immediately. Neither of these are official answers, but this is how it works as I understand it. Comments Welcome, Norman S. Not entirely correct. > If you cancel any reaction or action modifier as it is played, then, it > is my understanding, that playing a second copy of that reaction or > action modifier would violate the rules governing reactions and action > modifiers, namely that only one of any one reaction or action modifier > may be played by a minion on an action. Correct. The canceled card was still played. >> If my prey's minion X tries to play WWEF, can i play first a superior >> Iron Glare and then Approximation of Loyalty to cancel WWEF? (i suppose >> no) > > No, you must play the card to cancel another card immediately. Correct.
