Tom, Mad & Co

What does the "is put in play" means? That this card remains until someone burn it, or it leaves during your next untap as usual? I don't understand the purpose of this. Can yoy explain this, or shall we wait until august the 20th to see all the new text on this card? Sorry, I'm curious. Tom, MAd&Co

That probably shouldn't have made the list of "functional" changes. The best result here is clarity for when the minion is stolen before the effect ends (and clarity about whether or not any new vampire you bring out after playing the superior is affected). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Ah, that's sad. It might have actually made the card good if it had gone into play permanently with a burn action attached. :-) Psychic Projection is seriously (IMO) the weak cousin of Psychic Veil - you can use stealth for a turn 'on your own', but with Projection you can only hope that the turn you play it will actually be the turn you need intercept on. Since Archon isn't on the "functional change" list, does that mean it's not going to get "put this card on the vampire" text, or would that not necessarily be enough of a change to show up? Or is it still a surprise? :-) Josh likes surprises... sometimes

Can we expect to see errata for Archon (and Templar), then? Or will the RT be waiting to see if they can actually be abused successfully before considering errata? Josh erased errata

I'm already thinking about it. :) Xian Iliana makes the grade, but probably won't work out well...

Incidentally, in case you didn't already realize, if you want to try to abuse Templar or Archon (or both!) you can do it right now. Their built-in rush isn't restricted by the *current* NRA and won't be restricted by the new one either. Josh has seen it tried but it's not working too smoothly yet
