Q: Bauble

From the card text on Bauble: "[vic] +1 stealth action. Put this card on the acting vampire. Search your library and put a non-unique, non-location equipment card on another minion you control..." So my question is: When I play Bauble, do I *have* to take the equipment out of my library or can I use an equipment card from my hand as well? Michael

I think the card text itself is not that clear (hence my initial question). The card doesn't say:"search your library for an equipment card and put it on another ready minion.". It merely tells you to search your library and put an equipment card on a minion, it doesn't explicitly say if that equipment card has to come from your library. The way I see it, the card text could be interpreted in different ways.

[ quoted text not captured ] if card text confines you to only searching your library, that should be sufficient. would you argue that since the card text does not explicitly say to equip the equipment found in the library that it can *only* be a piece of equipment from your hand or other source? it doesn't explicitly say the you *could* equip it if you found it in your library, it just says search, so what we have is a 2 blood costing card that lets you look through your library. and as a side effect equip a piece of equipment from your hand. which is not the case.
