Hello, A quick question: A vampire who entered combat with another minion by means of a hidden lurker, plays a form of mist at superior and burns a blood to continue the action at +1 stealth. What happens? Thanks, Jeroen

[ quoted text not captured ] I guess we're talking second round, as the acting minion has no strike on the first round, right ? Orpheus

[ quoted text not captured ] On Hidden Lurker, the minion opposing the vampire playing the hidden lurker does not get the strike, ie the non-acting vampire from the original action. You're thinking Fast Reaction. Back to the original question... There is no blocking minion anymore as the original action has resolved. Therefor there is no need for stealth, and form of mist cannot be played at superior to continue the action. I think... -JTP

You play Hidden Lurker after your own action is blocked. It's the blocking minion who gets no strikes on the first round of combat. My guess is, that if a hidden lurker plays Form of Mist at superior the same happens when you play Form of Mist when you're not acting. Nothing. There is not action to continue, as the minion playing the card is *not* the acting minion.

[ quoted text not captured ] To hazard a guess, since the vampire in question isn't performing an action, he doesn't have the option of continuing the action: [pro] Strike: dodge. [PRO] Strike: combat ends. /If this vampire is acting/, he or she may burn 1 blood to continue the action at +1 stealth as if unblocked (this action can still be blocked). A vampire may play only 1 Form of Mist at superior each action.

Presumably the action is still "on" as an action modifier, Hidden Lurker, just got played. However, Hidden Lurker is played by someone _other_ than the acting minion, and superior Form of Mist contains the text " If this vampire is acting, ..." So the Hiding Lurky vampire can't play FoM to continue the action, as they're not acting. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm (replace "hotmail" with "yahoo" to email)

Correct. And, in the case of Fast Reaction (above), there's no stealth needed, so the acting minion cannot play Form of Mist to continue. [ quoted text not captured ]
