Don't forget to come up, down, east, or west to check out the world premiere (as far as we know) of the Toy Chest Test VTES tournament format! The details are repeated below from the original announcement, in case you didn't see it the first time (or lost it). If you're on the fence, do come, I promise it'll be... interesting. :-) It's a variant that works like this: Each player starts with 1 crypt, constructed via the normal rules, and 3 library decks, constructed as follows: Each of the libraries has between 20 and 30 cards (for a total library size of 60 to 90 cards). They do not all have to be the same size. Except for size, they follow normal VEKN constructed deck rules. Each deck is shuffled and cut individually. Each player chooses one of his or her libraries to start with. The other two are placed off to the side (in the player's "Toy Chest"). Cards in the Toy Chest are out of play and cannot be affected. During the discard phase, each player gets one fewer discard by default. A player may use a master phase action to swap his or her library with one from his or her Toy Chest. During the untap phase, if a player's library is empty, he or she must choose one of the libraries from the Toy Chest to be his or her new library (and immediately draw back up to his or her hand size, if necessary. If this empties the new library, then the final library is taken from the toy chest as well). A player may not attempt to withdraw until all three libraries are exhausted. Players will need to bring decklists for all three of their libraries (so they can reassemble them between rounds). Here's the event info... How does goggle-eyed eight-ball-totin' Rachel Brandywine's ability interact herein. Or Tusk's? Pochtli's? Waste Management? I assume that they only affect the "active library?". Not that I will be there, but I am just curious. chris Joshua Duffin wrote: [ quoted text not captured ] -- chris shorb <www.vtesinla.org> (A V:TES site) prince of torrance, california *** Into the abyss I'll fall - the eye of Horus Into the eyes of the night - watching me go Green is the cat's eye that glows - in this temple Enter the risen Osiris - risen again - Dickinson

Top-posting is usually discouraged, but in this case, since the answer to your query is in the text you bottom-quoted, it works out well: > Joshua Duffin wrote: >>Each deck is shuffled and cut individually.
