Akhentanen's (D) action says: (D) action: Burn Kherebetu to burn a follower of set. I assume this is a misprint, and that the card was intended to read burn Akhentanen. Tom? Speaking of which...I haven't played with this bad boy (Akhentanen) yet, but doesn't just burning him seem a little too nasty? I me= an, he gets shuffled back into the deck and if you have the five (or four?) pool to bring him out again (could be difficult, but...)= you can just keep doing it...maybe it should be remove from game? But then again, that might mess with the whole mummy concept. I= don't know. Christian "If you understand the word 'grok', you've probably read too much science fiction."

It may take them a millenia to return, but they will come back (the above is not quite true, but good enough for this discussion). I don't feel his power (if not misprinted) is too powerful. It costs 4(5?) pool to bring him out, and to destroy a Follower of Set you would have to: a) bring him out (4 pool) b) next turn, (D) action at the Follower of Set, and have it be unblocked c) he dies! Not too powerful. As for right now, I think he is not powerful enough. He should have superior necromancy. Mummies are supposed to be powerful necromancers, and many have powers that can _outright_ kill pretty much anything. As it stands, his special power (gaining life if he uses Nec. cards that gain vamps blood) is useless. There is no way he can gain life, and so his 3 life will quickly go away. At superior necromancy, he can use superior Soul Stealing in combat and Torment the Soul for Aggravated. At inferior, neither is possible. Still, he is pretty good..., though not quite like he could be. @ The Corrupter - Adrian Lee Sullivan @ GAT/CS/WS R+++* r(+)>++ # Gamer Coffee-Addict Scripter Author # C(+++)$ USX+$ N++ e+* [ quoted text not captured ]

In the Game this is based on they are the only true immortals and there is only one rumored way to kill one which is by using a high level spell to undo thier true name. Very difficult to pull off and it is still only a rumor. Paying that much pool to bring them out is really expensive. A strategy built around getting them out repeatedly is not likely to be very effective. Look at renegade Garou for comparison for a tough ally. Rory

I would have liked him to be a bit more but am reasonably happy. I think taking an undirected action (so that Prey and Predator can block) to get a magic equipment out of your Libray (similar to several existing cards) would have been neet and not to poweful. I don't know the necromancy cards. So there are known that will give him or the Bane Mummy life? That would have balanced them out against the mages and Garou or Muddled. Rory
