[LSJ] Sects

Hi, I am currently reading the Rulebook (section 10) and it does not seem clear to me : what are the sects ? Only Sabbat and Camarilla ? or Sabbat, Camarilla, and Independant ? or Sabbat, Camarilla, Anarchs and Independant ? (but Anarchs are Independant, so...) If someone can help... Thanx !

Just because under Independents it says: "Other clans are not aligned with either sect; they are called Independent." I can't imagine how that would confuse anyone. It is only in the Anarchs section where it says Independent is a sect. Something should probably be rewritten.
