I haven't looked at the new rulebook, so I probably shouldn't open my big mouth, but I will anyway. ;-) Why didn't the old rulebook allow it? I don't see why you couldn't have played a Gangrel Conspiracy on your predator's turn, paid for it by skipping your master phase, and then played another one during your minion phase. I don't know "why", exactly - probably just an oversight. But I do know how: "Once you've played an out-of-turn master card, you can't play another one until after your next turn." [3.2.1] That rule works sensibly when you're talking about cards that cannot be played on your own turn, but it doesn't make as much sense when you start dealing with Gangrel Consiracy and such.
