[LSJ] Timing Issue

Quick question of timing during one's untap phase. Setup: Player A has an Army of Rats in play. (prey loses 1 pool during owner's untap). Player A has 1 pool left. Player A is Player B's preadtor. Player B has a Famous vamp in torpor (each Meth loses 1 pool during untap) Player B has 1 pool left. There are a few ways this could work out: 1) Player A is outsted by Fame A's predator gains 6 pool, B survives until Fame takes affect during his/her untap (since the Army of Rats is now gone), B's predator gains another 6 pool. 2) By ordering his/her untap phase as they wish: Player A ousts B with Army of Rats, gains 6 pool, loses nothing to Fame since it is gone due to B being ousted. I'm tempted to think that #2 is correct, but I'd just like confirmation. BTW, thanks to White Wolf for making Final Nights such a great new expansion.
