At the end of combat, meaning after the conclusion of an action that was

Effectively this means directly after the combat, before any new
blockable actions.

Yes, it can be replaced. Whenever an card-based action is blocked, it
should be replaced as the action is not successful. It does not matter
which minion blocks the action.

The cardtext does not prohibit transferring off the uncontrolled
