If the Sengir Dagger is in play, can my Ravnos use Horrid Reality to create a temporary illusory Sengir Dagger if that is the first equipment card in my library? I would say yes, since the dagger illusion goes to the ash heap at the end of the combat. Opinions? Chick...@msn.com

That's a good house rule, but officially, you'd just contest the Dagger for he duration of combat. -- ----- L. First of all, if it is contested, then it leads to a whole series of unclear questions about what happens. It is just plain easier to allow it. On the simulation side, it is just an illusion, so uniqueness doesn't make sense. Not that this matters in terms of the rules, but it is always nice when a ruling matches the "real-world". - Drake

Drake, I agree completely with your points. Thanks. Anybody else have different opinions? Chick...@msn.com

This would mean that the illusionary Dagger would be useless, but that the "real" Dagger would be unusable until the beggining of that player's turn.
