ToV and SCE

I thought this had been answered but I can't find it... Minion A strikes minion B for some damage Minion A has extra strikes Minion A uses an extra strike to play S:CE Can anyone play Taste of Vitae? Presumably you can play ToV after you send someon to torpor? If combat is ending then by definition you have reached the "end of a round of combat" -just a premature one. (there is an old ruling saying you can't play one after SCE because it has to be played after strike resolution but I think that the ToV card text has changed since then)
