I've bought about 3 decks, 5 boosters (so what can i say? ive only been in this 2 weeks...) my friends got a good malk deck and bleeds the sh*t out of me. I got seven(yep, 7) auspex cards, no Radio Station or sports bikes, so blocking's not so flash. Any ideas? (2 Malks and no Ventrue, so bleeding him is out of the picture...)

[ quoted text not captured ] If you are playing only 2-player games, a lot of defenses go flying out the window (notably bleed-bounce (using Deflections) and _possibly_ offensive vote-race (using damage votes to kill before killed)). What kind of environment do you play with? Pure (by the Rulebook) Jyhad, Duelist Convocation Tournament Rules, something else? These questions are important. Have you been trading yet? With so few cards, its hard to build a balanced deck without trading. Hope to hear from you. Sounds like your playing a two-player game. If so, try getting more players. Other defenses: Bounce (use deflection and/or Telemathic Misdirection) - only useful in a three-or-more-player-game. Combat: Stock some Bum's Rushes and Haven Uncovereds (and Archon, if you have them and can pass the vote), and beat his bleeders into torpor and then bleed him at you leisure. Protected Resources (a rare card). Archon Investigation (an uncommon card). -- L. Scott Johnson states it appears that a good combat rush deck might be the best offense. Also try some Pulled Fangs. If you do more damage at close range than your opponent you can pull a fang. For starters this does 1 pt aggravated to them. I normally save this card for after I've knocked them to zero blood, and a pulled fang simply burns them out of the game. Look for more nasty combat combos. Try http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~phartika/games/jyhad/ or http://members.aol.com/bbretall/jyhad/decks.htm for more ideas. I've been using alot of these decks with adaptation for the cards I have and the four card limit I use. We play by the VTES rulebook, and yes, i've traded a bit with the other guy. Unfortunately, while i had no idea he convinced me to stick with single-clan. Which is fine, but i was Nosfer. So, i traded all my blurs for stealth. Which is worthless at a 1 bleed each turn. Got some tremeres now, tho...and Malks too.

I mean really, too many? Suppose "we" could drop a handful in an envelope and send them to Robert? I don't mean 5 pulled fangs... I mean, send Robert one of your extra vamps, a sports bike, deer rifle, chainsaw <g> etc.. Let's see if Robert's luck can change a bit. Agreed, stealthy Malk bleeds decks are boring and often quietly fade. Every once and awhile they surface. The newbies, (sorry Robert), find that it is the easiest deck to build with limited stock. I'd b'happy to drop a dozen or so cards to a fledgling. If you have any vampires you especially want, Robert, give me some e-mail, as I've dups of virtually all Jyhad/VTES vamps. And maybe a few 'generics', a 'Dodge', 'Lucky Blow', etc.. -j p.s. Do you want Jyhad or V:TES backs?
