1. does ventrue investment count as an investment? by cardtext it should be no. but on the other hand it would make sense to add that little word "investment". 2. kyoko shinsegawa hunts. what happens if she has aaron's feeding razor / the inbase discotek is tapped / her controller controlls the hungry coyote and she is sabbat? from card text i would say she steals an additional blood / she gains the second blood from the blood bank / she steals an additional blood. 3. does tyler untap and gain a blood when she plays amaranth? thanks, pallando

It follows the Legacy of Cain precedent: The amount gained (stolen) by the Legacy of Cain hunt action is not affected by effects that affect the amount gained by hunting (e.g., Aaron's Feeding Razor). [RTR 19970630] > 3. does tyler untap and gain a blood when she plays amaranth? Yes. Card text. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. It doesn't modify the amount gained by hunting....

[ quoted text not captured ] Just like Aaron's Feeding Razor or the Hungry Coyote. Here's how I'd interpret the ruling: Basically, both LoC and Kyoko have slightly confusing wording - the essential part being that the vampire does X "instead of the usual hunt(ing) action" and is therefore not performing an actual hunt(ing) action. AFR, THC and ID apply only to actual hunt(ing) actions. Is this correct? Thomas

[ quoted text not captured ] With the new no rrepeat actions rule, a vampire can hunt many times on a single turn. Kioko's abillity modifies her huntig actions. Can she "hunt" more than once in a turn? His hunting abillity is not an "action from a card in play", is it? BAsa. Prince of MAdrid.

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] It is an actual hunting action. It's not the normal hunting action. See also Rafael Giovanni's bleed action (which is not the normal bleed action, but is a bleed action nonetheless). > AFR, THC and ID apply only to actual hunt(ing) actions. > > Is this correct? > > Thomas [ quoted text not captured ]

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] No. > His hunting abillity is not an "action from a card in play", is it? It is. Kyoko (a woman) is a card in play. [ quoted text not captured ]

Thomas Pichler

[ quoted text not captured ] Okay, new question: Which cards that modify hunt actions affect only the normal hunt action, and which cards affect all hunt actions? Thomas

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] The ones that affect how much blood is gained and all the rest, respectively. [ quoted text not captured ]
