If I am a longtime player, and am only looking to collect the new cards do I need to buy the new Camarilla Edition starter sets? If all the new cards are in the CE boosters then I would probably be better off buying only boosters. I searched all over for a clear answer, and couldn't find one. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- pheersum is eric schultheis. visit http://www.netwizards.net/~pheersum/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are primarily concerned with getting the 100 new vampires in the set and the 15 new library cards, then yes, spending your money on Boosters is the way to go. All of the new cards are in there. The main incentive for the veteran player to buy the precon starter decks is to make it a certainty that you will get some reprints that were previously very difficult to obtain such as Freak Drives, 2nd Traditions, and Disarms. Hope that's clear enough. Peteo

On the other hand, each starter comes with 7 or 8 reprinted vampires (reprints from AH and DS, generally) that have the new background and design, and sometimes new art (for instance, in the Nosferatu starter, you get Nikolaus and Daliyah, both of whom come with new pictures). So if you are looking just for playable new cards, then you don't need any starters. If you are looking for a complete set of something, then you'll need one of each starter. That, and the Starters come with some really good, old cards (Ventrue gives you *two* Freak Drives; Brujah gives you a Disarm). Try ebay for a set of vampires if you must have them. -- Aaron The Nosferatu Stuff

Each starter comes with 9 reprinted vampires (4 from DS, 4 from AH, and 1 from FN). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [ quoted text not captured ] No sets have been offered, or are you offering? At 1$ (plus) per vampire on ebay, plus S&H, I'll stick to buying booster packs Raille
