Please forgive me if this seems like a stupid question...... Can anyone tell me if there is a historical meaning to the symbol seen on the card packs, etc.? The general definition of Jyhad (jihad) would lead me to believe that it's an Islamic relgious image. Any ideas? As I'm not a game player and thus don't read this group much, could you reply to my account directly? Thanks for any help you can provide. Kurt Byfield Bo...@msn.fullfeed.com

One of the artists (Harold McNeill, I think) designed the symbol, so while it may have been based off of actual symbols, it doesn't have any specific meaning that I know of. Jyhad <> Jihad Jihad != Jyhad While the artist who created the symbol may have used some Islamic symbolism, s/h/it could also have used Hopi, Norse, Libertarian, bee-dance, or any other symbolism. Only the artist knows. It is still the neatest symbol in the game, I found it to be Gothic, which fit perfectly with the whole theme. Errol T
