I'm aware it is not to occur very often but what happens if Vampire A is blocked by Vampire B Combat occurs and ends with A and B still ready Vampire D plays Fast Reaction to enter combat with A Vampire C plays Hidden Lurker to enter combat with B In which order do the 2 combats take place ? It might be important because depending on the cards both methuselahs have in their hands both combats may have different results if D vs A is 1st or 2nd. Is it D vs A because D plays his card before C ? Is it C vs B because C is the minion controlled by the acting Methuselah ? I admit I've never seen such a situation thx to spending time on it while it's not really useful

The one that is played first resolves (and precludes the other from being played). Since the acting Methuselah gets the first chance to play, the Hidden Lurker will be the first card played. But if the acting Meth chooses not to play and the "defending" Methuselah then decides to play Fast Reaction, the acting Meth cannot change her mind and attempt to pre-empt the Fast Reaction with a Hidden Lurker. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. The first one played is the only one played. The acting Meth always gets first opportunity to play the next effect, so would be able to play Hidden Lurker (precluding the other Methuselah from playing Fast Reaction at all). If she declines to play Hidden Lurker, then the other Meth can play Fast Reaction (which would then preclude the ability to play a Hidden Lurker later in the same action). > Is it D vs A because D plays his card before C ? > Is it C vs B because C is the minion controlled by the acting Methuselah ? It's whoever plays the card. C gets the first opportunity, so D cannot play Fast Reaction until C has declined to play Hidden Lurker. [ quoted text not captured ]
