Couple of questions for LSJ...

1) If I use the Obtenebration strike card Entombment at superior where it sends a vampire to topor, can that be dodged? 2) Does the vampire go immediately to torpor and combat ends (like a Strike:Combat Ends) or is that vampire still able to dish out damage before going to torpor during damage resolution? I guess the short form of the question is... does Entombment resolve immediately or during strike resolution? 3) Since the Giovanni are an Independant clan, are any of them able to become the Prince of Venice (or any other prince for that matter)? My guess is no, but I would think that Venice might be an unusual case (since all Giovanni get an extra vote for that city's praxis seizure). Thanks.

Yes. All strikes except Scorpion Sting at Superior can be dodged. Note that dodging only negates the strikes effect on you, it doesn't prevent the strike from happening. > 2) Does the vampire go immediately to torpor and combat ends (like a > Strike:Combat Ends) or is that vampire still able to dish out damage > before going to torpor during damage resolution? > I guess the short form of the question is... does Entombment resolve > immediately or during strike resolution? Entombment resolves during strike resolution like all other strikes that are not Strike: Combat Ends, Dodge, or First Strike. > 3) Since the Giovanni are an Independant clan, are any of them able to > become the Prince of Venice (or any other prince for that matter)? No. Not without a Giovanni Acceptance passing or Writ of Acceptance. > My guess is no, but I would think that Venice might be an unusual > case (since all Giovanni get an extra vote for that city's praxis > seizure). A vampire must be a member of the Camarilla to be a Prince. If the Giovanni that you want to be Prince of Venice is not a member of the Camarilla, he cannot become the Prince. > Thanks. Your welcome. First Strike strikes resolve during strike resolution as well, it's just that they resolve before normal strikes. > > 3) Since the Giovanni are an Independant clan, are any of them able > > to become the Prince of Venice (or any other prince for that > > matter)? > > No. > Not without a Giovanni Acceptance passing or Writ of Acceptance. > > > My guess is no, but I would think that Venice might be an unusual > > case (since all Giovanni get an extra vote for that city's praxis > > seizure). > > A vampire must be a member of the Camarilla to be a Prince. > If the Giovanni that you want to be Prince of Venice is not > a member of the Camarilla, he cannot become the Prince.
