By the By, I just pulled out my VTES rulebook to find where
I could point to for the answer and found a ~SLIGHT~ error<g>
page 30 "If all of the vampires blood is stolen, the vampire
is burned"
(unless of course this is a rules change) hail Eris!
The closest answer I can find is on p49, at the top.
"If a vampire inflicts aggravated damage, and the victom of
the attack can play enough cards to prevent that damage, the
victom is not sent to torpor."
Notice it said prevent not heal. You would still get the
blood to put on your vampire (and help to pay for the rescue
later). My opinion is to torpor you will go.

This is true for the basic game.
For the full game, there is errata that says "the vampire is
left empty, but not burned nor placed in torpor".

Amazing! A case in which the Jyhad aggravated damage rules make more
sense to me...
You get hit with an aggravated strike of 2.
In V:TES, you are given the opportunity to heal both points of damage, but
the strike somehow still sends you to torpor.
In Jyhad, you are not given the opportunity to heal ONE of the points of
aggravated damage. This point sends you to torpor.

I play Tremere all the time and IMHO NO, stealing blood doesn't prevent
the damage it just gives the vampire extra blood. It goes along with
the whole, get the stole blood then receive damage idea.
Is that line about if more blood is stole than a vampire has then its
burned. Is that true? Whoa, pack the deck with steal bloods.

"cannot", of course. Apologies for the error.

Exactly. Stealing blood is not healing and does not prevent any damage
you take. A similar situation arises with Theft of Vitae and Pulled
Fangs. Since stolen blood is not considered damage, a hand strike against
the vampire using Theft would cause more damage at close range, allowing
the use of Pulled Fangs which would send the poor thief to torpor.

They make equal amounts of sense, and the VtES version doesn't lead to
agg being less useful than normal.
Don't think of it as "healing" agg damage - agg damage cannot be healed.
Any agg damage causes an unhealed wound. Any unhealed wounds (normal
or otherwise) send the vampire to torpor. If sufficient agg damage is done,
you must burn blood to prevent destruction. If you can burn sufficient
blood, then destruction is not prevented and the vampire is burned.
Jyhad X agg: (go to torpor and burn (X-1) blood) or (burn the vampire)
VtES X agg: (go to torpor and burn X blood) or (burn the vampire)
Jyhad
Basilia (agg hand) hits a Undeadly Persitent vamp: no effect.
Anyone else hits a Undeadly Persitent vamp: vamp burns a blood to heal.
VtES:
Basilia (agg hand) or anyone else hits a Undeadly Persitent vamp:
vamp burns a blood to heal.

You seem to be confusing "heal" with "prevent".
When a vampire in the game takes a point of damage, it "heals" that point
of damage by burning 1 blood. If it has no blood to burn, it doesn't
"heal" the damage, so goes into torpor. If a vampire burns blood to "heal"
aggravated damage, it goes into torpor anyway. (The reason this is referred
to as "healing" has to do with the Masquerade backstory.)
If you prevent damage, then the vampire never actually takes the damage,
so doesn't have to burn the blood to "heal" it. This also means that if
aggravated damage is prevented, the vampire does not go to torpor.
All that the rules on stealing blood mean is that if you steal blood, you
can "heal" damage with it right away, i.e., burn the blood to avoid going
into torpor. It does not, however, prevent the damage, so aggravated damage
will still send the vampire into torpor, unless actually prevented.
