Remembered that I should ask just to be sure: If a minion is cought in a "must do action, cannot do it" state, for instance due to having hunted whith Troile's revenge and using freak drive, and then is again enabled to act freely, again for instance if the TR is burned by another minion. Can the first minion act freely again? I.e. is there no conflict with having been forced to do nothing... "Wave of Lethargy - combat <i> Only usable before range is determined. Manuevers and presses cost the opposing vampire an additional blood to play this round." What's the defenition of "play" here? Does it cost extra to use IR goggles, manuever from bum's rush etc.? "Clandestine Contract Action Assamite 1 pool Requires an Assamite with a capacity above 4. Contract. (D) Enter combat with a ready minion controlled by another Methuselah and put this card on that minion. This Assamite is chosen for this contract. This Assamite may enter combat with the minion with this card as a +1 stealth (D) action. Common" Is the the acting assamite chosen for the contract before or after combat, i.e. can he use Khabar:Honor and Provision in the combat of the Clandestine contract Also: Can Zahir get a Clandestine contract as an action? "Zahir, Hand of the Silsila Assamite Capacity: 6 CEL OBF qui tha Independent: Zahir can search your library for a contract and put it in your hand as a +1 stealth action. Discard down to your hand size and shuffle your library afterward. (Blood Cursed) Uncommon"

That's the point of the bold-type "Contract" on it in the text box, yes. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D "You reinstall Dial-Up Networking. Here are a couple of questions that came up today: 1. "Antoinette DuChamp: If Antoinette uses an action or strike that requires Celerity, she burns an additional blood." Can she play a distraction at basic, which costs her 1 for the action, and then not pay what she can't afford? Basically is it part of the cost of the action, or a result of taking the action? 2. When does domain challenge decide who is getting damaged? Someone played domain challenge, and no blocks were declared. He then played disarming presence, which forced all vampires that wanted to vote(other then his own) to tap. Are the terms, of how much pool each player burns, set after the vote is called, or will it only take effect after it is passed, checking to see who attempted to vote it down or was already tapped?

It's a burn blood effect. Since it doesn't specify _successful_ actions, I'd say it happens when the action card is played, which means she can't pay for the Distraction when it resolves. >2. Domain Challenge checks tapped vampires at the time the vote concludes. It combos quite nicely with Disarming Presence. gomi -- Yes, I believe but I'd rather not pray What I believe in I'd rather not say, baby

Apparently it also combos well with mind numb/freak drive. Domain challenge/disarming presence. To have a lot of other peoples tapped minions for several turns. Followed by multiple domain challenges for maximum damage.(really kills weeine decks as we saw)

[ quoted text not captured ] Hey Aaron, (and LSJ I suppose) Is there room in there, after blocks have been declined and before the referendum goes to a vote, to use Freak Drive, so you don't even take damage for the vote caller? No. Freak Drive is played after the action resolves. [ quoted text not captured ]
